​At the age of twenty ThomAs TroutmAn has already traveled around the world,  written, produced, and choreographed  his own stage play, danced professionally, released an album and has  acted as the lead role  in numerous  stage plays.

​ThomAs TroutmAn was born Thomas Lamar Troutman on Saturday March 7, 1992 in Dayton, Ohio. ThomAs started his entertaining and musical journey when he was just 2 years old. He began singing church songs and acting in front of audiences of close family and friends.  ThomAs began acting in countless productions at his home church in Dayton when he was 6 years old. While growing up ThomAs was also exposed to the show style entertaining abilities of his family's band the legendary Zapp Band feat. Roger Troutman.

At the age of 11 ThomAs decided to take his acting skills in a new, more musical direction. This was the beginning of a fresh and new journey for him. In 2003 ThomAs performed in his first musical "The Wiz" with a community arts center, Residence in Praise Fine Arts Center in Trotwood, Ohio. Through out the years  he continued developing his acting abilities being involved in numerous stage plays.

When ThomAs was 16 he was invited to audition for the Zapp Band by  group manager and Uncle Lester Troutman, Sr. and his father Terry "Zapp" Troutman. It was in this audition that ThomAs began building the confidence in his performing ability and started the vision of his career path.

ThomAs began Touring with ZAPP on June 13, 2009. Along with touring with Zapp ThomAs began to groom his vocals studying vocal technique as well as singing background vocals on tour. 

ThomAs has also danced with the pre-professional world renowned Dayton Contemporary Dance Second Company (DCDC2) in 2010-2011,.  Where he channeled new dance technique and expressed himself through dance even more.

​At the age of 18 ThomAs felt prepared enough to bring his gifts in performing and his vision to the attention of his father Terry Troutman. He let his father know that he was ready to "change the world" with his music and continue as well as build a brand new legacy for the Troutman family.

​ ThomAs TroutmAn began production for his debut album in mid February 2011. He created a stage name version of his first and last name adding the unique capital A's. ThomAs says, "Well the meaning of the capital A's are very spiritual and personal for me". "The A in "ThomAs" stands for anointed because God has blessed and 'ANOINTED' all of the many gifts I have., and the A in "TroutmAn" stands for 'ANOINTING' because with those gifts,  I am sharing them with the world through my music. So because I am sharing those 'ANOINTED' gifts with my audiences all over the world they are feeling the 'ANOINTING' coming from me and receiving joy, peace, and love from my gifts."

At the young age of 20 this "SuperSTAR" is emerging quickly onto the music scene with the August 2011 release of his debut album "Pressure" With a major pop sound with underlying hip-hop and R&B highlights this album is full of crossover chart topping hits but this is only the very beginning for this trend setter and rapidly rising icon.
